Different tests, different results

Two different sets of test scores have provided good and not so good news for Montgomery County Schools, while pointing up how different tests can provide seemingly conflicting information but in actuality measure different things. In this case the bad news is that only three schools met federal No Child Left Behind (NCLB) goals for proficiency. But growth in student achievement based on state ABC accountability standards was the best since that testing was implemented in 1996.
